Jose Velasquez-Vicente
Junior Analyst
Hello! My name is Jose Luis Velasquez-Vicente and I am a sophomore at Florida Atlantic University studying Finance and serving as an Equity Research Analyst for the TIA Investment Fund, where I cover the financials sector. I joined the fund because I wanted to understand how financial institutions actually work and dive deep into their risk and returns. Growing up, I watched my father build a landscaping business without anyone explaining how banks lend or how capital works, and that gap motivated me to study the financials sector directly. As a first-generation student, I approach every analysis with the mindset of someone who knows the stakes for founders and small business owners where acquiring capital right presents the difference between survival and failure. Beyond the fund, I am bilingual in Spanish and English, and I am an active strategist in consulting through REM and Company at FAU. My career goal in the finance industry is to become an investment banker, then move into private equity, and eventually build ownership in founder-led businesses.

Junior Analyst
Hello, my name is Andrew Search and I am currently a Freshman at Florida Atlantic University. I am a Buisness major with a concentration in Accounting. I joined the firm because I have a passion for company analysis especially on the consumer side. Currently a junior analyst for the Consumer sector, I have learned a lot about how to correctly evaluate a company and how to back up claims about research done. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who wants to learn how real world companies analyze firms, and anyone who may have some skills in managing a portfolio, but wants more experience.
